Yeah, But Can You Walk and Chew Rag?
Graham's toddling all over the place. He kind of freaks me out when he quietly sneaks up behind me... I'm used to hearing him "crawl thumping" with his blue cast - there was no "quietly" about that! Along with learning to walk, he's learning to climb - furniture, bookcases, you name it. We're counting the days until he ends up with another blue cast!
Seems like he's working on a few more teeth, too (still just the four). That's the reason for the rag - his best friend these days. It has to be soggy, and he has to have it hanging out of his mouth wherever he goes.
He's still a man of few words (like his Dad I suppose) - "kkk" for the kitties, and "ahm" when he really wants me. Otherwise he's making up his own sign language for all kinds of things, points pretty efficiently, and babbles constantly. He loves to tell himself jokes and then laugh at them. He's a funny, funny kid.
His tricks... the "grandma" retreaters at the camp love his tricks. "How big is Graham?" S-o-o big with his arms straight up. "Graham loves mommy t-h-i-s much" with his arms stretched out to the sides. He blows kisses, waves, and smiles for everyone. He thinks everyone that comes to camp comes just to see him. He's a treat - until you have to put him down for a nap!
