My Mamie and My Megan
Last week was Miss Megan's first visit to Michigan (surprisingly less snowy and much warmer than our blustery Nebraska!). Craig took a week off of work to drive us midway across the country so we could bring Mamie (my grandma) an early birthday surprise. She will be 88 this Wednesday. I have so wanted Mamie to meet sweet Megan, and now she has. The girlies had a couple good long chats and giggles together on the couch. And Miss May has been blessed by hearing Mamie laughs, feeling Mamie snuggles, and seeing beautiful Mamie smiles.

Thank you Anissa & Craig for making the trip. Mamie was quite happy and she still talks about the quilt you made as soon as one walks through the door. It is laid out on the back of her sofa.
