"Oof, Oof"

Graham seemed to catch on to the idea of Halloween this year. He was guarding his pumpkin full of loot pretty closely. I tried to take out some of the stash to make room for more, but he would not have any of it... Mommy had to back away from the pumpkin. Last week we went trick or treating downtown Fremont at some businesses on Main Street. That proved to be pretty overwhelming, but by the end of the night Graham seemed to wrap his head around why he was wearing a dog suit. He looked at the other kids in their costumes, then looked down,
pointed to himself, and said, "oof."

Today we went to Friday morning Toddler Play at the Library - a special Halloween day, with costumes, treats, and Halloween theme for fingerplays, stories, and songs. Then after nap we hit up the two groups of quilt ladies staying in the conference center this weekend. They were ready for him (both groups requested he come visit, one group even decorated their meeting space and dressed up just for him! Graham is blessed by MANY camp grandmas!), and filled his pumpkin bucket (and his cheeks) to overflow.

Graham,

You are the cutest dog we have ever seen! It was so nice talking to you and seeing you on the computer. Have fun eating all of your Halloween candy!

Love you,
Uncle Nate and Aunt Staci
