Sweet Sounds

This past week we heard a lot of new sounds around our house. Very sweet sounds to this Momma's ears. Graham has started to sing. He has hummed a bit for awhile now, but he's finally catching up enough with his words to be able to spit them out in a song. Although his best and favorite performance so far is "Dinosaur Train," the theme song from one of his best PBS shows, he gets bits and pieces from others. My favorite and my best is when he sings the alphabet with lots of missing and repeated letters.

Miss Megan doesn't want to be left out of all the fun either, she has begun to really laugh. At Graham, and only Graham at this point, but it is an all out uncontrollable giggle at her crazy big brother. And he'll do anything for a laugh. Great sibling bond in the making :).

Our other favoritest sound is Graham praying. He often prays bedtime prayers thanking God for his books, his trains, the ceiling fan and whatever else he spies around his room. He also includes many of you on his list never forgetting Bob and Susie (our next door neighbors) and Megan - although Mom and Dad must just be a given because we aren't always remembered. Our prayer is just that he will keep it up, and continue to sink those roots deep into living water so that he might grow up to be a mighty oak in God's kingdom.
